Catherine Elizabeth Middleton was born at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading on January 9 1982. Her wedding to Prince William spawned a whole new range of royal memorabilia including Kate and William tea bags, dolls and even a Papa John’s pizza. On becoming a royal, she became the Duchess of Cambridge, and a pub in Windsor promptly was renamed in her honour. Read more
