„A Midsummers Night’s Dream” by William Shakespeare, played in Bucharest in the honour of the reigning couple Ferdinand and Marie

On 6 February 1923 at 8.30 pm the National Theatre in Bucharest played Shakespeare’s „A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in the honour of the 30th wedding celebrations for King Ferdinand of Romania and Queen Marie. The play was also performed thirty years ago when Marie came to Romania as a bride of Ferdinand, then heir to the Romanian throne. (marriage day: 10th January 1893, Sigmaringen)
